Maurice Langston spent close to 30 years in law enforcement in Wakulla County and retired as the undersheriff. Langston currently serves as the Executive Director of the Wakulla County Senior Center. He is a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Chief Executive Institute. He began his law enforcement training in Southwest Florida at Edison Community College and has over 1,400 hours in continuing law enforcement education. He is also active on Wakulla County’s Youth Recreation Board, the United Way, and the Coalition for Youth.
